Living spaces in The Fitz Country House are elegant and plentiful, striking a faultless balance between luxury party palace and peaceful country retreat. The elegant lounge, draped with lavish furnishings, soft wool carpets and a cosy log burning fire, invites its guests to de-stress and luxuriate. Choose a novel from the bursting bookcase, cosy up with kids to watch a film from the impressive DVD collection, or perhaps gather your party for a competitive couples evening of wine and board game fun.
However, to ensure that you’re as equally captivated by the outside as you’re by the inside, an abundance of large sash windows provide a strikingly opulent display to ensure that you’re constantly in awe of The Park and your magnificent Cumbrian surroundings.
Bedrooms
The Fitz Country House sleeps 16-24 guests, with seven luxurious ensuite bedrooms, including a ground floor disabled suite, designed to exude peace and calm. Leading up a grand staircase, featuring a striking stained glass window, each bedroom exudes a tranquil elegance, adorned with either calming blush pinks, soft powder blues or uplifting neutrals.
The House is home to two palatial Master Suites, fitted with luxuriously comforting super king sized beds and an elegant designer sofa for your rest and relaxation. Once you’ve finished your day of exploring, then retreat to your marbled en suite bathroom, where you can soak in the sights from your freestanding bathtub overlooking the glorious Fitz Park.
Similarly, bedrooms three, four, five and six are styled to impeccable taste, but feature the modern convenience of plush zip & link beds, which can either operate as twin beds or a super king, depending on the size and needs of your party. Each bedroom is also fitted with a luxurious en suite bathroom, offering a contemporary haven for comfort and cleanliness.
Kitchen and Dining Spaces
The Fitz Country House’s impressive cooking and dining spaces begin with the spacious and opulent kitchen area. Speckled with subtle spotlights, mirrors, striking marbles tops and a large island bar equipped with an instant boiling water tap and top of the range cafetieres to hand – The kitchen is an ideal setting to spend leisurely mornings and breakfasts.
Kitted out with all the latest mod cons, the high gloss kitchen is equipped with four large electric ovens, an integrated steamer and microwave, two warming draws, a large induction hob, and two dishwashers. A cooks dream? We think so, and with an excellent local butchers and fishmongers just up the road, wouldn’t it be rude not to make the most of it?
Treating you to the choice of two dining rooms, the first and most aesthetically formal dining area is perfect for celebrating special occasions and impressing your guests.
